2. Ghost Train in Stanley Park
October 11th – October 31st
The theme this year is Alice in Nightmareland. The Ghost Train takes you through different scenes with live actors. Pick up some hot chocolate at the market before the ride starts!
3. Haunted Vancouver Trolley Tour
This tour takes you on a haunted tour via a decorated trolley bus. The tour takes you through Gastown, Stanley Park, as well as Mountain View Cemetery and tells you the stories of Vancouver that aren’t as pretty as the views.
4. Maan Farms Haunted Corn Maze
Visit Maan Farms for a haunted corn maze experience in Abbotsford. Open from 7pm to 10pm (or 11pm on popular nights), Maan Farms will definitely get you ready for Halloween.
5. Pumpkin Patch
Pick a pumpkin at one of the local pumpkin patches! There are plenty from Southlands in Vancouver, to Pitt Meadows or Maple Ridge.
6. Lucky’s Doughnuts – Fall Flavours
Order a set of doughnuts from Lucky’s on Main Street. If you want to try something festive and different, try their Apple Bacon Fritter or their Pumpkin Cheesecake Bismarck!
7. Granville Island Turkey Trot
October 14th – Thanksgiving Monday
This 10km run starts at Granville Island and loops over the Burrard Bridge. Come out and support the Greater Vancouver Food Bank at this community event.
8. The Lost Souls of Gastown
This walking tour of Gastown tells the stories from Vancouver’s earliest days. Tickets are $28 and tours run from Monday to Saturday from 8pm – 9:30pm.
9. Science World After Dark
October 18th 7pm to 10:30pm
Check out their murder mystery event. If you like solving puzzles, this is the event for you!
10. Oktober Fest
Check out the numerous Oktoberfest events happening throughout the month of October. Parallel 49 and Brewhall are a few places that are hosting events!
